As you already know – I don’t keep a super structured capsule wardrobe, but when it comes to style and clothes, I like to keep things very simple and comfy. I’m a huge fan for minimal wardrobe and I just cannot get enough for my favourite basics and Fall staples;) For me it’s always been really important to collect classic pieces like: blazers, trench coats or leather jackets. I feel like having different kinds of outerwear is great (especially during the colder months) because it’s gonna make it easy for you to get dressed every single day. Today I’m sharing my top 3 outerwear pieces for Fall season, which I would say are also great for a capsule wardrobe. My biggest tip when collecting coats for Autumn and Winter is to stick to neutral colors like black, grey, navy blue, beige or olive green, so you can pair and layer them with almost anything. Number one on my list is: black leather jacket – is one of those key pieces that I like to invest my money well, because they’re going to stay in my wardrobe for ages. The jacket I’m wearing is from Mango (similar here) – nice quality, definitely value for money. The length is great, it looks nice with jeans, but also with autumn dresses, and I love this edgy, biker look.
Lightweight parka – I have always been obsessed with the color olive as well as mixing masculine items with girly pieces. I got this military/utility jacket at Urban Outfitters (similar here). It’s a boyfriend fit, super oversize, but that’s why I love it so much! It’s something I like to team with the classic jeans, basic tee, Hunter boots and cosy scarf – perfect for rainy, autumn days.
Trench coat – another staple piece which you can wear over t-shirts, longsleeves or cami tops. I found a great trench coat at Zara online (here) – super affordable and neutral with some cute, feminine details. The structure is nice and soft, very lightweight (not lined) and I also love the color, which goes beautifully with neutral tones and classic prints.
