Hi guys! Hope you all have a great weekend! Today we’re finally sharing with You some pictures from Mykonos. As I said in my last post, we were completely taken with the views of the island, greek architecture, delicious food and sunny weather – especially because it was raining in Germany at the same time!
This whole trip wasn’t a typical vacation for us. It was something more like a “workation”. We were working on a few different projects there and hadn’t had so much time to relax and explore as we wanted to, but we still took some blog photos and have a few recommendations.
On today’s pictures we are showing You our favourite spots in Ornos, where we found very lovely Airbnb. We couldn’t be happier with the location, (the apartment is very close to the Ornos Beach, which was almost empty at this time of the year by the way!) our host was very friendly, and now the best thing – we had an amazing private roof terrace where we were watching magical sunsets every evening. What more could You want?! 😉
Also in Orons, we discovered two restaurants that we really liked. As you’ve probably noticed i’m obsessed with healthy food lately, so i was pretty happy finding “Bowl” – a restaurant with lots of organic/vegan options, minimalistic interior design, and positive atmosphere, where we’ve been starting every day with a good coffee and of course some bowl, like acai or matcha green smoothie 😉 We really enjoyed to spent a quality time there, doing some e-mails, editing photos and drinking delicious chai latte. Totally recommend this place.
The second place was a restaurant “To Apomero” with local food, which we have found on our first day in Ornos and since then we were going there almost every single evening for a dinner. Great, traditional greek food (moussaka, baked cheese, baklava), fantastic grilled calamari (which was Darek’s favourite), mussels, seafood pasta and again – friendly service. Also highly recommend!
So yeah, now I’m leaving You with some pictures and going back to pack our suitcases again. Next stop – home! So excited to spend few days with family and friends in the upcoming weeks. Have a great weekend everybody and stay tuned for our next posts from sunny Greece, where I’ll share some pics from Mykonos Town and another beaches wort visiting.
