Mixing and matching a lot of objects and furnitures from different styles and eras takes a lot of skill, but I believe that great interior design comes from taking risks 😉 I love eclectic design, even though it’s probably one of the hardest designs to pull off. Creating a comfortable apartment, a little bit eclectic and a little bit modern, full of personality, neutral colors, bohemian vibe, bold textures… that can be really tough. You guys know that I’m obsessed with home decor lately, so today I’m finally sharing with you some of my favourite interior trends and decorating essentials.

1. Chair (here) – 2. Wall deco (here) – 3. Round mirror (here) – 4. Dining table (here)
5. Glass / metal shelf (here) – 6. Wood sideboard (here) – 7.  Marble coffee table (here)

Because our new space is very bright and minimalistic, we decided that we want to mix wood furnitures and traditional design with some chic and modern elements. Reclaimed wood sideboard and dining table (similar 4 and 6), antique inspired desk (13), marble coffee table (7), minimalistic shelves (5) and transparent / crystal clear chairs (14) – these are definitely my favourite statement pieces in our new apartment.

8. Boho pouf (here) – 9. Macramee (here) – 10. Wall decor (here)
11. Pineapple candle (here) – 12. Coffee table decor (here)
13. Wood / antique inspired desk (here) – 14. Transparent chair (here)

One thing that comes with every new apartment is lots of wall space. Wall art is essential in making the room more personal and filling up those empty walls, so we decided to create some gallery wall with beautiful and high-quality art prints (our favourite art and letter prints are from and Jo&Judy), black and white photos and other pieces of wall decor (2, 10 and 18) like rounded mirrors (3) and wall clock (16). Another essential that brings the space together is definitely a nice and comfy sofa (23) and a cotton rug (15). We also like to mix gold and silver accents (11,12 and 20) with some bohemian inspired decorations (poufs (8), pillows (19), book holders (17), macrame (9) etc.)

18. Photo frame (here) – 19. Pillows (here) – 20. Wall lamp (here)
21. Candle (here) – 22. Blanket (here) – 23. Sofa (here)

Decorating a living room with different furniture styles, patterns and pieces is not only fashionable, but also very fresh and unique. Choose a pattern and color that will go with your decor style and that you like, and most importantly – just have fun with it! 🙂 So, that’s it for today 🙂 Hope you all have a lovely day, and don’t forget to check out my Instagram for more home inspirations 🙂
